What is Hex EFT DMA for dma?
Hex EFT DMA is a hardware cheat for Escape From Tarkov, run from a second PC through a DMA card. Nothing runs on your gaming machine, which is the entire reason people accept the cost and setup involved.
Tarkov is where the DMA arithmetic is most favourable of any game. Raids are long, gear is expensive, and a wipe represents months of progress — so an account is worth more here than almost anywhere else, and the information advantage of full loot and player ESP is enormous.
Raid awareness
- Player and Scav ESP with distance, so you know whether a sound is a PMC or an AI before committing
- Loot ESP filtered by value, which is what stops you searching containers while stationary and exposed
- Quest item highlighting — the items that actually gate progression rather than the ones that sell well
- Extract locations and status
Aim assistance
- Requires a KMBox or MAKCU — the second PC cannot move your mouse without one
- Ballistic prediction for Tarkov's travel time and drop, which matter more here than in most shooters
- Conservative smoothing defaults, because a killcam is the most common way DMA users are reported
Detection risk and anti-cheat
Tarkov's value model cuts both ways. The account is worth protecting, which is the argument for DMA — and it also means a ban costs more than on any other game in this catalogue.
DMA answers exactly one question — is there cheat software on this PC — and no others. Killcams, replays, spectators, reports, behavioural detection and server admins all work against you exactly as well as they would against a $5 external.
Anti-cheats are working on the hardware layer. BattlEye have said publicly they are investigating hardware-level detection, and Ricochet already fingerprints PCIe topology at launch and flags unusual configurations for review. Treat DMA as harder to detect, not undetectable.
Live detection status for every product is on the status page, and how detection actually works is covered in our anti-cheat explainer.
System requirements
- A DMA card (35T, 75T or 100T FPGA) in a free PCIe x1 slot on the gaming PC
- A second PC to run the software — 4+ cores with AVX2 and 8GB RAM minimum
- Custom firmware for your card; stock firmware with default PCIe vendor IDs is detected immediately
- A BIOS that allows IOMMU / VT-d to be disabled
- A USB-C cable between card and second PC
- A KMBox or MAKCU if you want aim assistance — the second PC cannot move your mouse on its own
- A fuser if you want the overlay on one monitor rather than a second screen
When to choose Hex EFT DMA
- You already own or are building a DMA setup — this is software, not the card
- You play Tarkov seriously enough that a wiped account would genuinely hurt
- You want loot and quest information more than you want aim assistance
When something else is the better buy
- If you do not already have the hardware, an external Tarkov cheat on a throwaway account costs a fraction of a card, fuser, KMBox and second PC combined.
- Ancient EFT Chams and the other software builds in the Tarkov category cover the same information at a far lower entry cost.
- If your goal is aim rather than information, the hardware premium buys you very little that software does not.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a DMA card to use this?
Yes. This is the software for a DMA setup, not the hardware. Without a card, a second PC and custom firmware it will not run at all.
Is DMA safer than a software cheat on Tarkov?
Against scanning, considerably — there is nothing on the gaming PC to find. Against being reported by the player you just killed, no different at all.
Will it break when Tarkov patches?
It can. DMA software still reads game memory, so offsets still move on patch day. Hardware changes how you are detected, not whether the software needs rebuilding.
Do I need a KMBox?
Only for aim assistance. ESP, loot filtering and radar need no input device.
