What is Caruso R6 DMA for dma?
Caruso R6 DMA is a hardware cheat for Rainbow Six Siege, run from a second PC through a DMA card. Nothing sits on the gaming machine for BattlEye to inspect.
Siege is the clearest case in this category for choosing DMA over software. Bans are permanent, they are tied to accounts people have spent years and real money on, and BattlEye is aggressive enough that software cheats have short lives here.
Round awareness
- Operator ESP with distance and health through walls and floors — vertical information is what Siege rewards
- Gadget and drone ESP, so utility is cleared before it is triggered rather than after
- Defuser and objective tracking
- Destructible surface awareness for reading rotations
Aim assistance
- Requires a KMBox or MAKCU for physical input
- Very conservative defaults — Siege's time-to-kill is short enough that aim rarely needs help, and a snap is conspicuous
- Visibility checks left on
Detection risk and anti-cheat
Siege has permanent bans, a ranked community that reports readily, and killcams on every death. The most likely way to lose an account here is not detection but the person you just killed watching the replay.
BattlEye is the anti-cheat to check firmware against, not Siege specifically. Firmware works at the PCIe level beneath any game logic, so firmware validated against BattlEye generally holds across BattlEye titles.
DMA answers exactly one question — is there cheat software on this PC — and no others. Killcams, replays, spectators, reports, behavioural detection and server admins all work against you exactly as well as they would against a $5 external.
Anti-cheats are working on the hardware layer. BattlEye have said publicly they are investigating hardware-level detection, and Ricochet already fingerprints PCIe topology at launch and flags unusual configurations for review. Treat DMA as harder to detect, not undetectable.
Live detection status for every product is on the status page, and how detection actually works is covered in our anti-cheat explainer.
System requirements
- A DMA card (35T, 75T or 100T FPGA) in a free PCIe x1 slot on the gaming PC
- A second PC to run the software — 4+ cores with AVX2 and 8GB RAM minimum
- Custom firmware for your card; stock firmware with default PCIe vendor IDs is detected immediately
- A BIOS that allows IOMMU / VT-d to be disabled
- A USB-C cable between card and second PC
- A KMBox or MAKCU if you want aim assistance — the second PC cannot move your mouse on its own
- A fuser if you want the overlay on one monitor rather than a second screen
When to choose Caruso R6 DMA
- You already own or are building a DMA setup
- Your Siege account carries years of progression or purchased operators
- You want information through walls and floors more than aim assistance
When something else is the better buy
- Crusader R6 and the other software builds in the Rainbow Six category cost a fraction of a full DMA setup and cover much of the same information.
- If your account is new or disposable, the hardware premium is very hard to justify on this game.
- Sapphire R6 Unlock All solves a completely different problem — cosmetic and operator access rather than in-round information.
Frequently asked questions
Is DMA worth it for Siege specifically?
It is the strongest case in this catalogue, because Siege bans are permanent and accounts carry years of progression and purchases. That is exactly the situation where hardware costs less than what it protects.
Do I need a DMA card?
Yes. This is software for an existing DMA setup — card, second PC and custom firmware are all required before it will run.
Does firmware need to match Siege?
It needs to match BattlEye. Firmware operates at the PCIe level below any game-specific logic, so firmware proven against BattlEye tends to hold across BattlEye titles.
Will other players still notice?
Yes, if you let them. Killcams show every death from the killer's view, and Siege players report readily. Hardware does nothing about a replay.
