What is Ancient Wardogs for wardogs?
Ancient for WARDOGS is the information-first external build. It covers player and vehicle ESP across all three teams, a full-map radar, control-zone occupancy, and a restrained aimbot with visibility checks left on by default.
WARDOGS is a 100-player, three-team control-zone game on 2x2km maps. The fight you are in is routinely decided by a third team arriving from a direction nobody was watching, so knowing where everyone is beats winning any individual duel.
ESP and awareness
- Player ESP with distance, health and team colour — three-team lobbies need colour, not just boxes
- Vehicle ESP for tanks, helicopters and transports, so armour never arrives unannounced
- Control-zone occupancy, so you know whether a contest is winnable before you commit
- Full-map radar with rotation tracking
- Long-range rendering tuned for 2x2km sightlines rather than corridor distances
Aimbot
- Field-of-view limit and smoothing, conservative by default
- Visibility checks so it will not track through geometry — the specific pattern Elytra looks for
- Body-first targeting with long-range prediction for ballistic drop
- Team-safe filtering across all three teams
Quality of life
- Saveable profiles for switching between cautious and aggressive setups
- Streamproof rendering
- Configurable menu key
Detection risk and anti-cheat
WARDOGS runs two anti-cheat layers with different jobs. Easy Anti-Cheat is kernel-level and inspects your machine; as an external build this stays outside the game process, which is what that architecture is for.
Elytra, the behavioural layer, never looks at your machine at all — it looks at your play, specifically unnatural aiming patterns and repeated tracking of enemies through walls. No external architecture defends against that; only how you play does. Leave visibility checks on.
Understand the lobby rule before buying: a mid-match detection ends the match immediately for all 100 players. Everyone else keeps their XP and cash and is refunded. A detection here is a public event, not a quiet flag.
Live detection status for every product is on the status page, and how detection actually works is covered in our anti-cheat explainer.
System requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- Secure Boot disabled
- Steam copy of WARDOGS
- Administrator rights to launch the loader
- Overlay-capable GPU driver for rendering the visuals
When to choose Ancient Wardogs
- You want the widest information coverage rather than the strongest aimbot
- You play the objective and care about rotations more than killfeed position
- You want conservative defaults you can leave alone on a game with behavioural detection
When something else is the better buy
- Arcane Wardogs is the other external option, built by a different developer — when one is marked Updating, the other is usually the one still running.
- Belltower Wardogs is internal: better visuals and a more capable aimbot, at meaningfully higher detection risk on a title where detection is immediate and public.
- If you are only playing the launch weekend, a temporary account costs less than risking one carrying accumulated cash.
Frequently asked questions
Are WARDOGS cheats detected right now?
It changes constantly and per-product. The status on this page comes from our supplier feed automatically, so check it immediately before playing rather than trusting a sales claim — especially during Early Access, when builds move faster than usual.
Is ESP enough on its own in WARDOGS?
For most players, yes. Zone fights are decided by which team arrives with more people and whether armour is inbound. Both are information questions, and information is far harder for a behavioural anti-cheat to notice than an aimbot.
Does it show vehicles?
Yes — tanks, helicopters and transports with distance. On 2x2km maps armour decides objectives, so this is one of the higher-value features rather than a throwaway.
What is the difference between Ancient and Arcane here?
Both are external with overlapping features, but different developers build them, so they are rarely detected at the same time. That is the practical reason to know both exist.
